Your Mission
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer focused in the development of robotics for high temperature geothermal drilling tools. Your role will be to design, test, and evolve mechanical systems capable of performing under high pressure, high vibration, and ultra high temperature environments (300 °C+).
You’ll be at the core of our R&D, developing the next generation of tools to allow greater access to deeper, hotter rock.

What you’ll do:
- Design and validate dynamic components (bearings, seals, linkages…) for subsurface tools
- Tackle extreme environments (300+ °C, high shock and vibration loads)
- Simulate, prototype and test your designs with a world-class R&D team
- Collaborate closely with experts in materials, electronics, and fluid dynamics
- Engage with suppliers and labs to manage technical aspects of testing and validation
What we’re looking for:
- Background in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree and PhD are preferred)
- CAD & FEM skills considered an asset (for example, SolidWorks/Onshape, SimScale/Ansys/COMSOL)
- Strong English communication skills (C1 level as defined by CEFR)
- Passion for renewable energy and innovation
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills
